St. John’s Lutheran Church always has the newest version of Portals of Prayer available at church which provides a daily Bible reading, meditation and prayer. We have several ways you can obtain this treasured resource:
- Pick up a FREE copy from one of the alcoves at St. John’s Lutheran Church (each publication covers 3 months of daily devotions).
- Portals of Prayer has their own Facebook page and share the daily devotion each day … click here to visit their page on Facebook
- Purchase and download the “Portals of Prayer” app on your smart phone by visiting their website at cph.org/portalsapp.
- Subscribe and purchase the “Portals of Prayer” access on your laptop or desktop PC by visiting their website at https://www1.cph.org/portals/default.aspx#options
NOTE: both the desktop version and phone app require you to purchase a yearly subscription for $10 per year. In addition to new daily devotions, subscribers have access to seven years of past devotions — more than 2,500 meditations and prayers that are “searchable” using a keyword. Users also may save favorite readings and share prayers. You can also press the play button at the top of each devotion to hear the audio played out loud for you to sit back and reflect on.
