Prison & Jail Ministry

WORSHIP SERVICE AT JAIL:  Every week members from St. John’s conduct a 2 pm service for inmates in the Midland County Jail.  This rewarding ministry is an opportunity to bring the Word of God to those who are often forgotten by society.  Would you like to bring the Word of hope to those in need?  Contact Pastor Parsons for more information at (989) 835-5861 or jparsons@sjlmidland.org.

DONATE RELIGIOUS MATERIALS:  either used or new religious materials for prisons can be placed in Closet 5C, religious recycling, located just outside the Weller Chapel. There are a couple boxes on the floor in there where you can place donated materials.  Mrs. Janetzke oversees the collection and distribution of this material.
