UPDATE on 5-31-25: A big “Thank You!” to the congregation for your generous donations to the Orphan Grain Train. Three people took over 50 bags of clothing to Sebewaing. It took two vehicles to get them there! Your donations will be appreciated in many different parts of the world as well as right here in the US. There will be another drive in the fall. Look at www.OGT.org for a list of accepted items.

Funding Sources
- St. John’s congregation tithes 10% of their annual budget
- “Missions” offering envelopes (yellow stripe on top) or individual contributions
- Door offerings when missionaries visit SJL
Disbursement of Mission Funds
The Mission Team meets in May each year after the congregational treasurer has forecasted the upcoming fiscal year’s budget. The team evaluates previous mission areas of support and possible new missions to decide the recipients for the upcoming fiscal year.
