Today at SJL, Pastor Parsons asked us to consider a few “heavy” questions. He asked us to think for a moment about the following:
How do we react to the wickedness in this world? What do I gain by keeping God’s charge? Why bother? What’s the point? Is it alright to just be apathetic? It would be easier, and I wouldn’t be so likely to make people angry. But, the climate around us is becoming hostile to God’s word. Why bother? What will change if I stand up for Christian values? What am I supposed to do in response to all that is happening around me?
