Chapel Service

The school children meet each Wednesday morning throughout the school year at 8:15 in the sanctuary for a weekly chapel service (with the exception of Advent & Lent when they attend the 12:15 church service). Parents and SJL Members are welcome to join us!

Ascension Day Chapel Service

Forty days after rising from the dead on Easter Sunday, Jesus ascended into heaven.  So this 40th day is being celebrated  by our school children with a special “Ascension Day” chapel service, which is open to everyone to attend. NOTE:  this service will NOT be live-streamed on our Facebook page       

School Music Concert

Students in grades K-8 will perform musical selections from their choirs and bands. Students in Grades K-8 will perform vocal and instrumental pieces in groups and solos.  Performance times TBD. Many Lutheran Schools in the tri-county area will be participating.

Regional Track Meet

Track & Field events for students in grades 5-8;  held at Valley Lutheran High School for Lutheran schools from several counties; ribbons awarded to top 5 finishers in each event for both girls and boys
