Senior Youth Night

St. John’s youth in grades 9-12 are invited to join us in the B.R.I.C.K each Sunday evening to spend time together, including group games, snacks, prayer,  and a topical study to explore how God’s Word relates to common teenage experiences.  Feel free to bring a friend!

Oasis Bible Study

As you walk through the desert of life, come find an “OASIS“, a place of safety and sustenance in God’s Word! This group meets every week on Tuesdays at 10:30 am in the Room 3 and is open to everyone.  Led by  Mrs. Karen Kempin.  

Prayer Warriors

Prayers for specific individuals or families, as well as missionaries, and situations; led by Marv Tegen.  All are welcome – please wear a mask!

Quilters

Create quilts for distribution to Lutheran World Missions; no experience necessary.  Come to visit and help cut, piece, sew, or hand tie quilts while joining ladies in fellowship!  Led by Mrs. Ellie Crook.

LifeLight Morning Bible Class

Weekly Bible study, following the Lifelight Study Guide; led by Tom Evans.  Beginning in Sept. 2023, we will study the books of Ruth and Ester. There are extra books in the Weller Chapel, but it is definitely okay to just show up if anyone is interested.

Archives Meeting

Group meets to document things happening at SJL.  They are also available to look up historical information. Led Karen Schultz.

Girls Small Group

The weekly Wednesday Girls Bible Study is at Coffee Chaos … join us for a cup of coffee (or hot chocolate) and a devotion.  Designed for girls in grades 7-12.  Friends are welcome to come along, they do not need to be members of St. John’s.
