IN PREPARATION FOR SPRING, we are serving special PICNIC FOOD! Free will offering will be designated for SJL Summer Projects!
Join us each week prior to the 7 pm worship service for a homemade meal and deserts! Free will offering accepted; all are welcome!
1. ASH WEDNESDAY, February 14, 2024 DONE- hosted by Women of St. John’s serving Turkey Noodle Soup, Bean and Ham Soup, Tomato Basil soup, and Chili, meat salad, egg salad, fresh fruit, jello salads, relish trays, and homemade deserts; proceeds to support seminary student Nathan Bublitz
2. Wednesday, February 21, 2024 DONE– hosted by Men of St. John’s and they are serving grilled cheese sandwiches, tomato & other soups, salads & deserts; proceeds will be used to support the HVAC Project
3. Wednesday, February 28, 2024 – hosted by SJL Youth and will feature a taco/nacho bar, as well as yummy deserts; proceeds will be used to support a team who will be attend the Appalachian Servant Event in July
4. Wednesday, March 6, 2024 – hosted by Lydia Guild; menu will include their famous Beef Stew, Turkey Noodle Soup, and many salads & homemade deserts; proceeds will support the Women’s Shelter in Midland and LSEM program
5. Wednesday, March 13, 2024 – hosted by St. John’s Lutheran School PTS (Parent-Teacher-Society); menu will include a variety of soups; proceeds will be used to fund end of the year fun activities, particularly Field Day
