Members of the Midland community who have no where else to go are invited to join us at St. John’s for this free Christmas dinner! Hosted by a joint Midland Community Group, but dinner will be held in the lounge at St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Monthly Bible study for all Riverside Place residents, visitors welcome! Takes place on the 4th Thursday of each month at 3:00 PM in the 3rd floor lounge. NOTE: will NOT meet on Nov. 24 which is Thanksgiving, but will meet on Thursday, Nov. 30!
All congregational members are invited, but only registered voting members are allowed to vote.
The 12:15 pm service will be held in-person for all SJL school children, parents, and congregational members. The 7:00 pm service will be both in person and live streamed on our Facebook page. Note: Both services will include the imposition of ashes to those wishing to receive it.

No School and Church Office is Closed
Forty days after rising from the dead on Easter Sunday, Jesus ascended into heaven. So this 40th day is being celebrated by our school children with a special “Ascension Day” chapel service, which is open to everyone to attend. NOTE: this service will NOT be live-streamed on our Facebook page
